FAQ

Skydiving questions.

Do I need any experience for a tandem skydive?

None. On a tandem jump you are attached to a professional instructor who controls the freefall and the parachute. You get a briefing on the ground before you go up.

How high do you jump from?

It depends on the aircraft and the location. Many tandem jumps are made from around 10,000 to 15,000 feet (3,000 to 4,500 metres). We confirm the altitude for your jump when you book.

Are there age or weight limits?

Yes. Most places require you to be at least 18, and there are weight limits for safety. The exact limits depend on the country and the equipment, so we confirm them before you book.

Can I skydive somewhere that has no dropzone?

Often, yes. We can bring the aircraft, equipment and instructors and work with the local aviation authority on approvals. Some places, such as busy city airspace, may not be possible, and we will tell you straight away.

What happens if the weather is bad?

We only jump when conditions are safe. If the weather doesn't cooperate, we move your jump to another time or day. How changes work is set out in your booking.

Can I get video of my jump?

Yes. A camera flyer can jump alongside you, and many tandem instructors can film with a wrist camera.
